# What are Projects?
Folders in PARA are sorted by actionability. This means the Projects folder contains the most actionable notes. These are things you are doing right now, they have a start and end (whenever you finish, pause or cancel a project).

Here are some examples of projects:
- write blog post,
- implement new update,
- complete app mockup,
- developing project plan,
- execute business development campaign,
- Finalize product specifications,
- Attend conference

Create sub-folders if you have several things going on that you need to keep track of. Make managing projects more visual by adding note properties like status, priority and owner, and then view them as a Kanban board, read more on this in [[Properties & Folder Views (List or Kanban)]].

You can also schedule tasks directly from your projects into your daily notes by typing a date link in the format `>YYYY-MM-DD` (or just type something like `">tomorrow"` and select the date from the results), for example:
* Some task >2023-05-09

See the sample [[Project Aurora: Website Redesign]] for inspiration. Working with a team? Use [[Spaces]] to collaborate on shared projects.
