# What are Resources?
"Resources" refers to topic-based content that you collect over time. If you read a book, a blog article, talk to someone and learn something new, create a resource note.

This can include a wide range of material, such as from:
- Book notes
- Research papers and articles
- Online courses and webinars
- Podcasts
- Forums and communities

On a wide range of topics, such as:
- Note-taking (see the Zettelkasten note examples, like [[1.1 We make oversimplified mental models of reality]])
- Psychology
- Architecture
- Deep Learning
- Programming
- Stock market

You don't need these notes at the moment (it's not part of a project or area), but they might become useful in the future.

And finally: [[What goes into the Archive?]]
